Kristen Anne Bell (1980) is an extremely famous American singer and actor. Her parents are Tom Bell and Lorelei Frygier and both are television news directors. Her family was born in Huntington Woods Michigan. Kristen is born in Polish descent (mother) as well as German, English and Scottish (father). Kristen was already a talented entertainer at an early stage. Her audition was in 1992 and was offered an appearance on Raggedy Ann, and Andy. Bell's mom enrolled her with an agency just before she turned 13; she later appeared on television commercials as well as newspaper ads. Also, Bell began taking classes in acting privately. Bell had a small uncredited part in the film Polish Wedding (1998) in 1998. Bell participated in the drama and music club in Shrine Catholic High School. The Wizard of Oz was presented by the high school and she won the role as Dorothy. Bell was then transferred to New York City, to the Tisch School of the Arts. She studied musical theater there. Bell, who graduated in 2001, decided to leave her college studies in order to take on the role Becky in Tom Sawyer. It was also in 2001 that Bell's first appearance in a credited film, Pootie Tang (2002). However, her part was cut and only the credits display her. In 2002, Bell was as a character in her first Broadway version of The Crucible with Liam Neeson as well as Angela Bettis.
